When a property in Centerpoint is not geocoded, you will have trouble outlining the property's section(s) and the system will be unable to capture the longitude/latitude of the repair plot points.
To see if you have any properties in your system that are not geocoded you will need to:
- Open the master Properties list under the "Book of Business".
- Click the Filter to change the view and click "Map".
- Under the map, you will see a section that says "Not geocoded". *If you do not see this section then you can stop here.
To fix these properties, you will need to:
- Click on one of the properties in the "Not geocoded" list. If you click on the sections tab you will see there is no aerial photo of the section(s).
- Click edit (pencil) on the property information, then click edit (pencil) on the address.
- Type the address into the Address Search bar, you MUST select the address from the dropdown.
- The address information will autofill. You will need to re-enter the Property Name.
- Click save when done. This property will now have an aerial photo of the section(s).
When you go back to the master "Properties" list, that property will no longer appear on the "Not geocoded" list.
Continue this process until all properties are properly geocoded.
