Warranties are intended to be any warranty provided to a roof system either by the manufacturer or you, the contractor. You can add warranties on each property by navigating to the warranty tab, and selecting the add button:
Once you click "Add Warranty" you can fill out the fields below. Note the "Installer" field will pull from your Sub Contractors list so you can track who the installer was if desired (not required).
The upload attachment is if you have the document of the actual warranty. When you select the start date and enter the duration of years, the end date will automatically populate:
Once you click the "Submit" button the warranty will be saved and visible within the warranty tab. You will also see a watermark on all properties with a warranty uploaded. This flag is to let you know there is some warranty on the property:
There is also a warranty report available under the "Reports" section on your left-hand menu:
This report can be sorted by the column headers and is useful to see a list of all warranties that are about to expire or have expired for example.
