When creating a service ticket you must select a "Service Type".
The different "service types" are;
- Leak - This is your typical time & material service job. If you get a time and material NTE request, use this type. This service type invoices off of line items.
- Scope - This service type is a predefined list of repairs signed and agreed upon by the client for a specific dollar amount before the repairs are made. This service type is entered through an opportunity's site bid. This type invoices off of the sale price.
- Warranty - This is chosen when you want a technician to complete warranty repairs typically under the manufacturer's warranty period. This service type will invoice off of the sale price.
- Inspection - This is chosen when you want a technician to complete an inspection that you are going to bill the client for. (non-billable inspections are best completed through tasks - this service type invoices off of sale price.)
- Non-Billable - This is chosen for any service work you will be doing that you are not billing the client for. Acts like T&M but the billable amount will always be $0.00
- Rooftop Maintenance - This is used when you need to fulfill a Service Agreement, or any other type of recurring service you and your client have a signed agreement for. With this service type selected the technician will be able to perform any maintenance or repairs and then update the inspection report all within the same workflow. This service type invoices off of the sale price.
- Snow Removal - Choosing this service type will allow the technician to complete repairs, create a site bid, and update the inspection all within the same workflow. This service type invoices off of line items.
