Once the ticket has been authorized, you will now be able to edit the invoice before you send it to your customer. Click the "Edit" button to the far right of the Invoice tab.
You will be able to view any billing instructions, view/apply payments, and view any purchases your techs may have made to complete the work on this ticket.
You will then want to view all the details for this invoice. This includes:
- Making sure both the produced and the billable columns read accurately and reflect the margin you want for this ticket (for more information, see the article on Produced vs. Billable Margin).
- Setting the description you want, and reviewing the complete invoice for accuracy.
Once the invoice looks the way you want it, you will need to click "Save". Then you will click the 'Generate Invoice' button at the top of the page under the 'Send' button.
This invoice is now ready to be sent, if you want to view the PDF before sending the invoice you can click the 'View PDF' button.
**Please note** Any time you make an edit and change something on the invoice you will have to re-generate a new PDF before sending it to the client.
