You can only approve time entries if you have the "Administrator" role.
You can approve employee time entries by navigating to the "Timekeeping" list and selecting your filters (date/employee).
When filtering your date range by 'This Week' you can select the day your week starts.
Starting at the top of the list, click on the date of the first entry. You will then be able to see all of the details for that time entry.
You can make any edits needed and approve the time from this screen. You can also approve the time from the timekeeping list by clicking the "Approve" toggle.
NOTE* In order for the accounting section to populate, you will have to click the "refresh" icon. The accounting section only calculates for service.
If you want travel and labor to be separated for production jobs, the employee will have to clock in and out of the cost codes you have set up in your Settings > Cost Code Library.
Once you have completed reviewing this time entry, you will click the "Back" button and continue down the list.
After you are done approving the time, you can download the list to a CSV.
Download CSV: This will give you each time entry as a whole.
Detailed CSV with Service: This will break out the time entry to show travel and labor time for each service ticket the employee worked on that day.
There are several different views you can look at for timekeeping. They are as follows...
- List View - this shows you a list of all of the timekeeping entries for the date range selected.
- Board View - this shows you a daily view of hours with a total for the date range selected.
- Employee View - this shows you time per employee for the date range selected.
- Job View - this shows you a view of time per job for the date range selected.
