Once the "Submit Inspection" button is clicked, the person you have set as the "Property Approval" person will receive a text message stating they have a new task for Property Approval. It will have the due date (the date and time the inspection was submitted and the task was auto-created), the company, and the property name.
Once you receive this text you will log in to Centerpoint and go to your calendar.
You can click on the task from the calendar, and then click the blue property link.
Or you can use the master search bar (top of the screen) to search for and access the property.
Once you are inside the property, you will need to edit the inspection and review each section to make all necessary edits (wording, pricing, etc.).
When you have completed reviewing and editing the inspection, it will need to be generated. Return to the property and click the arrow on the inspection tab, then click "Create Inspection PDF".
You will need to select the sections you want, proposal yes/no, *title page photo, *etc., then click "Generate".
*The "Title Page" can either be the aerial of the property (outlined sections) or it can be an image you upload to the property as the property photo (i.e. front of the building).
*NOTE: If you mark "Yes" on "Visible to Client?" that will only allow them to see the pdf of the inspection in the documents tab within the Client Portal.
**To give your client access to the live inspection (where they can budget for repairs, etc.) you MUST enable the "Show to Client?" button under Advanced Fields within the property's information section.
Enabling "Show to Client" in the property information does 2 things:
1. It makes it live in the Client Portal.
2. You will be able to see internally (from the master properties list in the Book of Business) which properties have been inspected and approved. These will be marked with a "" or an "
".
Once you have edited the property information and have turned on "Show to Client", you will then need to scroll down to the "Tasks & Meetings" bar, click on the Property Approval task, and check the "Mark Complete" box.
Click "Save & Schedule Follow-Up" when done. If you have more approvals to do, go back to the calendar and start over.
*If you have multiple approvals to do, it may be easier to view the calendar in list view.
Your completed approval tasks will have a checkmark.
