Once the invoice is ready to be sent, click on the "Send" button at the top right of the page.
You will then be brought to a page that gives you a preview of the email your client will receive.
If your client doesn't want to click on the "View Invoice" link you can attach a pdf of the invoice to the email (as long as it is under 25MB), you can also upload other attachments to be sent with this email.
The "Recipients" list will have all contacts listed that are associated with this company/property.
You can select one or multiple recipients, you can also add in additional emails if needed. Once you click "Save & Send", the system will timestamp when the invoice was sent and to whom, it will also display a read receipt showing "Sent", "Delivered", "Opened", or "Clicked" depending on the status of the email sent for this invoice.
Your customer will receive an email that resembles the following:
If your client clicks on the "View Invoice" button they will be able to view the live invoice (meaning they can move the map, enlarge photos, and pay the invoice if you have that set up).
Once the invoice has been sent, you will need to go back into the ticket and click the stage "Mark as Invoiced".
You can view all sent invoices from the master Invoices list under Service.
Once this invoice has been paid you should go back to the invoice and apply the payment via the payments tab on the invoice edit page. Enter the date payment was received, the amount received, the payment method, and any relevant notes, then click "Save".
